Keri
It's Keri's second year teaching at Nehalem Elementary School, where she has 17 Kindergartners to herd every day. She is helping pilot their new reading curriculum this year, and she won the staff costume contest with her handmade version of the school's logo.
One of her highlights of the year was on our family trip to Hawaii's Big Island, where you can swim with the Manta Rays. This happens at night and you're holding onto a surfboard with lights that attract the plankton, which attracts the Manta Rays. They swim right by your face!
Keri attained her Associate-Level Certification with the Orton Gillingham Association to assist those with Dyslexia, and continues to tutor two children online to help increase their reading skills.
